Paul Pierce scored 22 of his 36 points in the fourth quarter Monday to lead the Celtics to a 94-87 comeback win over the Raptors in Boston.
Kevin Garnett had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Ray Allen scored 19 for the Celtics (7-1).
Jermaine O'Neal led Toronto (4-3) with 23 points and 11 rebounds. He had 19 points on 7 of 12 shooting in opening half.
The Celtics trailed by 15 early in the third quarter and by six entering the fourth.
The Raptors pushed their advantage to 16 points twice in the second quarter, the second when O'Neal hit two free throws to make it 46-30 late in the half. Toronto had more assists (13) than Boston had baskets (12) in the first half.
Wade rallies Heat past Nets: Dwyane Wade scored 19 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter, and the Heat rallied from a 10-point deficit midway through the final quarter to beat the Nets 99-94 in Miami.
Heat rookie Michael Beasley had 19 points.
Yi Jianlian made a career-best five three-pointers and had 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Nets.
Nets guard Devin Harris (ankle) and Heat forward Shawn Marion (groin) sat out.
Nuggets waive McDyess: The Nuggets waived forward Antonio McDyess a week after obtaining him from Detroit along with Chauncey Billups and Cheikh Samb for Allen Iverson. McDyess, owed $15 million, agreed to a $6 million buyout, the Rocky Mountain News reported. The move was expected as Denver tries to cut costs. McDyess, who had two previous stints in Denver, didn't appear in any games since the trade. Detroit would welcome McDyess back but can't sign him until 30 days after the trade.
